Peanuts – Slightly Wiser Stories

Grandpa used to be a cadet in the United States Air Force Academy. While at the Academy his life took a totally different direction due in large part to circus peanuts and how Grandpa dealt immaturely with his immature room mate’s disgust with Grandpa having eaten some of his circus peanuts.

At the time it was a disaster. His room mate that could have been his best witness had become an enemy. Grandpa was found guilty of an honor code violation. For a brief time it looked like Don (Grandpa Hill) would just disappear from all contact with family and friends.

Then as the situation improved and improved and improved Grandpa got married to Mary Lee Mack. They had a large family. Now they have twenty five grandchildren.

Grandpa wants you to share this story. Be grateful for the chances you have to improve. Grandpa has and still is thinking, laughing, and living life abundantly and encourages you to do the same.

Produced by David Richman. Story told by Grandpa Hill. Art by David Richman. Banjo music by Michael Steele. Grandchildren in the audience Anna Richman, Annette Steele, Breandan Steele, Miriam Richman, and Eoghan Steele.
